change from slant to informal upright

Can a juniper that slant to one side be changed to informal upright? Does the roots have to be cut and trained on only one side ? Can't find any info. thanks for any help.

It depends on to what extreme the realignment of roots are required by the change up. For the most part almost anything can be done if you have the ability to do do. If you can get hold of Kimura's book the Magician you will notice how this is done in various situations. Not for the beginner or faint of heart.
