I didn't see any threads on this specific cultivar, just Fidur's red star atlantic cedar, so I thought I'd see if anyone else was trying this species and what were their plans?

I picked up the one on the left of the picture last week, a little cleaning up the dead and inside branches and repotted in big air pot as an experiment to thicken the trunk and that first low side branch (I'll cleave the other for a split trunk). I'll wire a few of them soon.

I went back and picked up the second pot (only $9 how could i resist) at the right which has 4 trunks (the small one in back not very visible) I was thinking of putting the. all together in a grove (might need to get one more small one to have a good set).

I'll see what's out there and mill it over.

Looking forward to other's little Jamie projects

@Bonsai Nut can this thread be moved to the 'other pines' forum- sorry I should have seen that first
