During the winter we had temperatures in the 40’s, I think this caused the leaves to turn brown/yellow and thin out but now that summer is here the color is changing back to green and there are new buds all over. I decided on cascade style and am going to reorientate the angle and prune when I repot this summer.

Black Olive seems to be doing well, I’m going to repot it today into the pot which is in the last picture.

Going to go for a windswept/cascade as I don’t see many other options. Any advice or opinions are appreciated

I have studied both my shady lady and spinosa trying to come up with ideas for what to do with them and all I ever come up with is to prune them for health using the standard guidelines for pruning landscape trees and let them do their thing. The thin, flexible branches seem too flimsy to try to wire and next thing you know they're lignified. :) Definitely keeping watch on yours to see how it goes!

After getting more opinions the new plan is to go semi/cascade with the right (smaller) side and air layer the larger left side.

This will be both my first repot and air layering. Will post updates when completed

Due to going cascade I was advised to keep it in the same pot. Here it is, minus the air layer which will be done when I get rooting hormone.
