Hi guys! I made a post about my dying raintree late February and I feel like she’s coming back strong….

That being said I’ve noticed yellowing on the end of branches and like smack in the middle of some too. I wanna make sure it’s not getting an infection or anything. (8 hours of light under grow light, water every three days, and 60-65% humidity)

Lastly, there were a bunch of dead leaves, branches and I kinda just knocked them off. I didn’t kill it did I? I left like the dead leaves/branches were holding it back.

Thanks guys!

There’s a lot of really nice new green growth so I’m hoping it’s nothing bad :)

Yeah. If you didn't seal the cuts, that could have something to do with it, but that alone isn't usually enough to cause that much dieback. I suspect the tree is also weak from something else.

yea maybe the guy I bought it from forgot to seal all of the cuts….

Should I seal them now?

Also it could be from all of the top leaves falling and dying? Last post talked about how it was a little neglected, from light and then it had amphids, and then I had a watering problem.

I’ve been on top of everything now and amphids are gone. Do you think it will bounce back or keep dying back? Thank you!

I've never sealed cuts on a BRT. You just need to cut back above a node and they will die back to that node. 8 hours of light is less than I give mine and I water more than every three days. But I'm not sure what is causing your problem.

Cuts must be sealed when fresh to have any affect. Way too late after you find a problem. As indicated by @Carol 83 above, sealing cuts is not always necessary so unlikely that's the problem here.
Much more likely to be a reaction to sub-standard growing conditions - too cold, too hot, too dry, too wet or not enough light. Can't tell from this distance which might apply here.

Leaves falling do not cause dieback. Leaves fall because the branch is dying.
Light, pests and watering could all be causes, either individually or collectively.

Pictures with new leaves show the tree is trying to recover. Whether it does will depend on whether you can solve the problems that caused the initial dieback.
Fingers crossed.

winter in temperate regions can be dificult for BRT. The ones that I keep fairly dry and very cool regularly drop branches. One of them seems to have died fully on my in a period of inattentiveness (10 day holiday in fall).
Yours looks perfectly fine. Branches pruned in fall might fail to stop drying at a node if the tree is going dormant.

Once the sun comes out and it wakes up from winter slumber you will see the power of these and it should explode.

Mine did something similar last year and I believe it was because it's roots blocked the drainage holes in pot and the roots were to wet. After a emergency repot it seamed to stop losing branches
