20160709_180342.jpg I got this juniper at one of the box stores. I trimmed all the dead foliage out and dead branches, took growth out of crotches. This is what i have left. This is the front i choose. I will wire it up in the fall.

Thanks any thoughts. There are alot of branches there and i know some will have to go. Both trunks lean in toward the viewer, but wire will take care of that.

A few more pictures from different angles would be cool:cool:

Think im going to changing my front to the last pic. All the low branches and the ones growing towards the viewer will be coming off

I like the labeled front front.

You can see the branch structure quite well and it seems after some wire would make a nice tree.
And you don't have to cut anymore!

I need to study this tree somemore. I have until next growing season to decide. Its really healthy and i want to keep it that way. I have had this tree for awhile just havent posted it up. It was in pretty bad shape when i got it. There was dead stuff everywhere on the interior of the tree

It looks excellently healthy now!

Yeah just wish i didnt have to cut so much foliage off of it. Had to cut some that would have made nice branches.

It looks to me that you have two trunks here? And with your new proposed front, the trunk on the right is growing right at you.

Yeah im re thinking this. The more i look at it the more i like the original front. Pleanty of time to decide, just getting watered and fertilized until next growing season.

Did some thinning and wiring on this tree. I decided to keep this tree small, so I know the trunks won't get much bigger in that small pot. This tree was sold to me as a green mound juniper, but for a green mound it sure has a lot of adult foliage.

This tree is only 5"s from the soil, but looks bigger in the pic.

Wow those are some pretty crappy pics. I will try to get some better ones after work tomorrow.
