Thanks for posting these. Very interesting and educational. I wanted to ask a couple of things - (1) what variety of juniper is this (are they all the same?), and (2) do you have "before" pics of all of them or only a few? If you have before pics of all of them, I think it would be neat to see the before and after.

Thanks for the reply... I haven't yet decided what I am doing with them.
I think quite a few of these would be show worthy in a couple of years, especially
Seeing most if the trees I see at shows... No offense to anyone! :-)

So, I might keep them... and follow them through, perhaps next week they
Might be up at one of the auction sites... more than likely the second will be the
Case... I have no emotional ties to any if these, they as alot of my trees are only
A means to an end., with the desired goal of improving my talent.

Why are you interested???

No...just curious...my contest juniper...I am contemplating sinking in the yard or dumpster. I wasn't thinking and about tipped it off moving another and grabbed for it. And got another splinter in my hand. So it's festering again. So it's a hate hate relationship with junipers I have. But, if that #8 would go to auction. I would love to watch and see it be bid on. That's all. I do Bonsai Auctions..that and .99 Cent Bonsai along with Bonsai Sales.

A shimpaku would turn that around pretty quickly for you...

I don't know...I don't see me running out anytime soon purchasing any. My finger is no longer purple tipped...but, again cracked open where I had issues of having a splinter from the juniper during the contest here on the forum. No longer seeps so it's getting better.
