There are a few. A couple of the best are in Japanese, so you probably have to follow the pictures. Search for Kyosuke Gun.

I have: "The Chi of Mame Bonsai" (translated title) Corona Books, which is marvelous.

" Bonsai Miniatures Quick and Easy" by Zeko Nakamura, 1973 and LONG out of print but findable in used bookstores occasionally.

"Miniature Bonsai: A Complete Guide to Cultivating Tiny Bonsai" which is NOT complete (books with "Complete" in the title never are) by Lin Kuo-Cheng, Hilt Publishing, 1987 and undoubtedly out of print.

For Shohin size trees, there is "Miniature Bonsai" by Teichi Katayama, 1974, in Japanese and out of print.

And then there is Morton Albek's "Shohin Bonsai: Unlocking the Secrets of Small Trees" Stone Lantern Publishing, which is still available and very good for these larger small trees.

Herb Gustafson's "Miniature Bonsai" which was the first book on the subject in English also is still around, I think.

I have others, but these are the ones to look for.

Bill Valavanis has put several articles by Kiyosuke Gun into recent issues of International Bonsai.
