That is a good idea Bnut and it greatly reduces the effort needed to make it happen. However, I am not much of a fan of redundancy or duplication, there are many species guides and beginner guides out there that deal with best species for beginners, in fact almost every forum has a thread asking what the best species are for beginners.

There must be something new, something useful, something unique that can be grown from Irene's thoughts?

Paul Stokes did just that at Mad City Bonsai.

Now all he has to do is update it more frequently because I know there are many more usefull articles to be posted there!
