Thanks for posting, good to see events happening in the wider bonsai community. have you considered forwarding it for posting it on the PNBCA website? Part of their purpose is to promote Bonsai activities for all clubs in the Pacific Northwest.
I'd also like to invite any of you who might consider making the trip up to our corner of the country to be sure to allow enough time to tour the Pacific Bonsai Museum. This facility has a fantastic collection and this year they are doing a career retrospective of our very own Dave DeGroot. https://pacificbonsaimuseum.org/on-view/exhibits/
You might also plan time to visit nearby Elandan Gardens and view the "Gnarly" work of our very own Dan Robinson http://www.elandangardens.com/
David deserves to be recognized and celebrated for the contribution he has made to Bonsai. His latest book " Principles of Bonsai Design" is one that I often recommend to students and bonsai enthusiasts when they are looking for excellent reference material. Personally, I have a ton of respect for his teaching style and methods. Deeply appreciate the work he has done here to support Bonsai on Vancouver Island over the years.
Teams of volunteers will work on Friday June 3rd for set up. Others may work Saturday June 4th registration/check out, silent auction, live auction, security and take down.
