Transplnted a Big Mountain Sage off cliff face. They come out with the full tiny root ball that is forced to be small. Seems perfect to Bonsai. It taking up plenty of water. I’ll let it get used to it’s new roomy home before I start trimming. I could have put this in a pot half this size or smaller. Should be fun. B591E9C5-8889-4D29-8ED0-F22A2F58BFCC.jpeg

I will be interested to see how it does. Typically they don't transplant well at all. Love them though.

I made a new post with them all trimmed up. They seem to be doing well so far.

I really hope! I love them. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and we had acre upon acre of these mixed with RMJ, Pondys and Pinon. <3 the way they smell after a rain. Nothing like that smell in the world.
