Hello yall,
So recently, Kim's Bonsai Nursery closed down due to Benny Kim's health declining. My teacher happened to be good friends with him and so offered to purchase a large chunk of his collection. We picked up over 100+ trees of varying refinement and two pallets worth of soil. Tons of massive prostrata and hollywood junipers. We also picked up a few olives, hornbeams, elms, black pines, and tridents. All of the trees need some sort of work with over half basically being raw material.
This thread is meant to document Mr. Kim's trees as my teacher and I work on them over the years.
