Beginner question White pine

Beginner question

I bought a white pine last week grafted to a black pine root system. My question is, do I treat it as a white pine or a black pine on my care for this tree ?

The tree needs to be treated as a JWP.

Grafted onto black pine just makes the roots a bit stronger and a little more forgiving.
The top is still White pine so trimming and pruning will still be as for single flush pines.

As stated, pruning and treatment of candles will be like JWP/single flush pines.

Overwintering will be like JBP. It will not be as cold tolerant as a JWP because it is on JBP roots. But it will do better in warmer summers.

With your location in the UK it should be fine.
