I have a few extra bald Cypress for sale or trade. I much prefer trade. They have 1.75 to 3" trunk diameter with roots. 1st up is $175 plus $30 shipping. Located in louisiana so I will send actual shipping prices if its less than $30 you pay less than $30 if it's more you pay $30. Thanks for looking.

Very nice and healthy BCs.

Good looking little trees. Are they collected, seed grown or cutting grown?

Just so you know: If you send a tree from a fire ant zone to an area not in a fire ant zone , you must have a fire ant certificate.

Here's a write up on what you need:

The web site for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, oddly, does not have any info on fire ant certificates. You could always ask your LDAF agent for more information.

You also need a Nursery Grower Permit to sell trees in Louisiana. Even if it is one tree. If your growing area is less than 2,500 sqft it's only $25 for an NC2 permit. It's real easy to get. An inspector will come out and inspect your growing area for pests. I don't recall if fire ants are the only thing they look for.

Permitting link:

My permit has expired as I am not selling trees at the moment. I might renew next year.

The pesticide Talstar is great for removing ants and more from your property. I haven't had fire ants for more than twenty years. Earthworms are not affected.

Hope this helps.
