Bald cypress forest

Want to start a progression thread for this forest bonsai. I got 10 plants about two years ago and I have eight that survived today. The top was getting too heavy and therefore did some chops and re-wired a side branch upwards. Will leave this alone for now but revisit early next year when the trees will need repotting.

I like the look of a dead one leaning through the composition if you lose another one. I started one of these a few years ago and unfortunately I'm down to 1/2 tree, lol. Last winter was brutal

I have so really nice small dead ones you may be interested in they are pretty exquisite.
