Backbudding Scots Pine.....bud question

I spent all that time and effort worrying and for no reason.
Getting it out of akadama and into lava (w/a bit of other) and fertilizing often and well has given me a BLAZING GREEN tree with lots and lots of buds.
So many that now I gotta figure which ones to wire and which to cut back.
IN THE AUTUMN!

I believe a similar product is Bonide Infuse systemic lawn and ornamental granules. I found this at Ace Hardware. Not sure if they have it in your location.
