Azalea Picture Identification Thread

I am not sure. I was just going with the label it had. If it is not Aozora I wonder what it could be. Yes the first flower is pure white.

Not sure. Maybe you can post pictures in another thread when more flowers are opened.
I just have never seen a white flower on 'Aozora', and the flower shape is off as well. And the leaves look like they are slightly larger.
I'll post a Hekisui' picture, which is 'Aozora' with a more reddish/pink colour, in a couple of days.
Since this is the reference/ID thread, I am 'correcting' you. Since it was labeled 'Aozora', you can only trust the label, until you know you can't.
It might still be 'Aozora' but for whatever reason, these flowers are way out of the range of what I would expect.

Thank you. Yeah I would love to see some photos of Hekisui.

Shiryu-no-Homare, is what I was told today by the local Bonsai nursery.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get ... in a bunch.
Not to worry. Let it flower out a week or so. Sometimes the first couple flowers come out misshapen.
Best

@Carol 83 I really like the color in this one. How big is the flower?
Color is nuts and has a leaf curled feature that makes it reistant to leaf rolling moths. Not that that is ever needed but that was why I got it, the flowers were a pleasant surprise, hopefully the chair can give some scale to flower size. @Pitoon

I believe not all 'Shiryu no Homare' have split flowers. It is a bit like Kinsai. The rolled rinpu-style leaves suggest it might still be 'Shiryu no Homare'. The flower seems closer to 'Shiryu no Homare' than to 'Hoshi no Kagayaki'.

@Ninecloud
You don't say what you posted just there, but it looks very close to the picture by Arreax. That was also labeled 'Shiryu no Homare'? It might be the normal flower sport.

@Ninecloud when you upload your images could you upload as "full image" verse thumbnail. To veiw your pics we have to click each one.
