Autumn is coming...who's excited and who isnt?

It's nice to take a break, reflect on the years progress, game plan for the next year or new material, find pots , wire/style , still plenty of work to be done

I can't wait! After 6 months of 100 degrees and eleventy million percent humidity, anything below 80 sounds fantastic! The 50s and 60s we get in January are almost unimaginable. Course... end of summer is still three months away, so I don't exactly know what you're talking about. And "winter" only lasts 6 weeks, so it's non stop repotting to get it all done by the return of spring in February.

My wife calls winter/ fall / spring hoodie season it's her fav lol.

At work they call me super tech and summer is my kryptonite.

We don't have ac and if it's 95 with heat index of 108 it's 115 in the shop.

Plus this winter I have about 100 training and air pots to build lol

I guess I just had that realization summer is going to end faster then I think, we have another month and a half until I start seeing some colors and things go to sleep. Today I realized how fast this year had flown by. I can't wait for the little break winter brings, but sad that I no longer get to watch my "kids" grow and be happy, until next year.
I definitely do have some grow boxes to start building this winter, a lot of 'em!

Our autumn is like 5 weeks long. Then winter. Oh boy!
I personally am holding my breath to see what fresh hell that brings with it.
Better put some poison for those varmint-cong to eat instead of your trees! I couldn't imagine living somewhere that cold.

@M. Frary how much snow do you see up there on one drop. Last year we got hit hard 36+ inches 2 x back to back. I think one time it was 6 foot. Or close lol. We're not used to that

Mixing up a few batches of concrete peanut butter next weekend and going proactive. I want them dead before winter.

This would be mind blowing to me, most I've seen in one go here in Albuquerque was 4 inches and that was when I was 13! Shut down the city hahaha ha

Well just get snow all of the time. Sometimes 18 to 24 inches at once but mostly just snow every day or every other day that adds up to quite a bit. It doesn't seem to snow as much when it gets really cold.

O wow. We'd freak here lol. I remember when I was about 8 we had a record snow fall. I got all dressed up to go play in it and ran out right into the door. It covered the steps and the bottem half the door. I couldn't open it lol. My mom had to open it for me it was 26 inches. And a 6 foot drift agent my door.

I know your weather - I grew up in Chicago and northern Ohio. I surrendered when I was pretty young, but family sends me back north once or twice a year. Still trying to find out the goldilocks latitude.

No offense, I'm just jealous! I hate cold, snow, ice, winter! Trying to convince the husband to move to Belize.

None taken! Belize is a great country and I really enjoyed visiting. You for sure won't have to worry about cold, snow and ice there.
