Anyone dig honeysuckle this year

Understand what your saying but that's why you should put them all in pots and make them live there days out like that. My woods aren't to bad yet but along the roads around here there everywhere.

Well had to dig one more for this year. Keeping my fingers crossed it will make it being a honeysuckle I think it will.

Well it took just under two weeks for my first honeysuckle to pop out a lot of buds. Pretty happy to have a few already in spots I was hoping for. Now keeping my fingers crossed my large one buds like this one has.

Here are a few that I have had my eye on for a while. I can remember playing under some of them as a kid.

I took 2 a few years ago, put one in a box with rich soil, the other in a shallow bonsai pot on bonsai soil. The one in the box is dead, the one in the bonsai pot is still alive, but has been somewhat difficult. I don't think they like too much water, IMO... I feel like I'm pushing the limits of dryness with the existing one, it tends to tell me when it wants more, and it's less that once per week at this point... FWIW
