I love this tree. Have just been letting it grow wild so far but not sure where to take it next

Going to front this with saying I don’t grow this species and know nothing about their backbudding potential, this drawing is also horrible but I think if the species allows, you cut on the purple and your tree will be within the green.

I like that idea! Maybe after this air layer I'll airlayer just above your purple line, try to get 3 trees out of this. I was lucky to have a very low branch to work with. Just above the soil
