Another winter collection thread

Around my house we have several Box-Elder trees and every one that I know hates them, becasue of the bugs. Our house is only 20 years old but somehow they get in and I have to kill several a day throughout the winter. In the summer flocks of them will be sunning in certain spots on the house's siding and they are just everywhere. Like in the wikipedia article, they are not a horticultural nuisance bug per-se but the are widely considered a nuisance bug. I would avoid providing them with a food supply near my domicile (but thats just me).

every one that I know hates them

Count me in. Taking these things apart and getting them through a chipper is torture.
Other fun ones are catalpa,locust and hawthorn.
