air prunning for developing bonsai root system. Any thoughts?

It's easier for a root to grow down and out of hole in a nursery pot.

I like baskets most Cuz when you see them roots, you know better what is going on.

You get a better idea of where roots originate, how many are growing.

I like that as a health gauge more than anything.

I can see now the goodness from this air prunning method. I havr read page 3 now from the link above. Nothing but good review on it. Will try for it for some of my new new baby...
