Attaching the link before I forget to. That done...I had one ask why I defoliated my Ginkgo. Actually a couple people. So I decided to explain myself.

After coming to almost lose my greenhouse to fire the other weekend. This clip someone just liked...was poignant to me this morning. I'm so very grateful...to have not had a loss...and this ability to winter trees outside my zone. Has truly been enjoyable to my bonsai journey. But as well it's lovely seeing trees tucked in and cared for. And they are...as my lungs are not capable of two stepping currently. So this...is where I'm at health wise...and I'm adapting.

Cool stuff! I think I saw a negari azalea on the last shelf that had me wanting to hear more.
😉 Good eye...my very first official, proper neagari to my bench. I've a post on it...progression backwards. From current to when it arrived. You won't recognize it other than the roots remain the same.
