A big (for me) Parsons Junipers

Cool virt. If I go that way any ideas on deadwood? Maybe break out the power tools and pliers and go to town!

First you will need to pick a definite angle and front. Then remove what will not be part of the final design. Then do some clean up. At that point, jin and shari can be discussed. I do see one potentially nice future jin on the right side of the apex. Here is a virt.

Thanks. I've only fooled around with junipers a little and I am ready to dive in. I'll probably just let this one go for this year though.

Nice tree, pleanty of possibilities. I just recieved one of these trees today and i like it alot. Oh and about the lightning, i know how you feel, i got hit when i was working on a cooling tower. It was monsoon season and those storm and pick up on a moments notice, by the time i realized it was coming it was to late. I now have a scar on the bottom of my foot where the hole was.

Anymore at the first sign of lightning I head for cover.

What are the chances that two Michiganers on a bonsai site have been struck by lightning? You guys need to go buy a Powerball ticket!

You know you may be onto something Brian. They say a person's chances of winning the lotto are the same as getting struck by lightning.

In a new pot. Planted at the angle Rob suggested. Once it recoups 2015-05-08 14.47.40.jpg 2015-05-08 14.48.24.jpg it's eliminating limbs and some wire.

Natural Jin and Shari. What if you put out those mouse glue traps the whole perimeter around your trees in the winter?

Or some sort of tar or other agent that stays sticky on some boards around them
