Just wanted to share these pictures I took today. Family member of mine wanted me to trim up their front garden. These were all planted here when they built the house and have been growing wild ever since. The 2 I uncovered so far have trunks thicker then coke cans.

There has to be some great material in there somewhere! Maybe I can get a few next year ;)

Sorry if the pictures aren't that great just took them from my cellphone.

Thanks for looking

You will probably have to kill off the family member to get those, but they are sweet juni's.

Very nice, healthy looking procumbens. Years ago, they were very popular in California for landscape use. They could be found an any nursery. They tend to stay low and will cascade if there is room. It's hard to find big ones for sale now.

I agree that you may have to kill the family member because those trees look awesome.

I have a few in my yard as landscaping. They grow great and laugh at the heat. My older ones have about a 8 foot spread. I actually prune them back were they try to grow onto my sidewalk. I have developed a 12 inch tall wall of juni there.
