Talk of early Spring in Ohio has me wondering... I'm still in Florida.
Do I need to rush home? Was to stay until April but, wondering if my trees need me sooner?
Central Ohio. Are the Red Buds blooming along the roads. Buds opening on your trees yet?
I have a friend to swing by to check my trees this weekend but, what's you trees saying?

No redbuds yet, early cherry buds are about to pop. Star magnolia are just starting to bloom. Sunny and chilly for the short term still below freezing at night short term. I’m in a greenhouse so this is only about the landscape, all my trees in the greenhouse are leaving or about to. Forsythia has been in bloom for 3 days outside in landscape.

At least here in SE MI, it's the typical rollercoaster weather-wise. We were 70 F 2 days ago, and it was snowing all afternoon yesterday. 23 F this am and everything is frozen solid outside, and we're expecting below normal temps into April. Nothing is blooming in my yard, though I did see some daffodil leaves that had pushed about an inch out of the ground under some leaves. My few redbuds show no sign of waking up yet.

in northeast Ohio and half of mine starting to want to pop. Buds swelling on most and have repotted most I needed to. Had couple warm weeks waking things up and now cooling back down some so the shuffle has begun for me

Sound like I got time yet. TY all. My friend up there checked on mine and sez sleeping like babies

Redbuds started showing color March 21 in southern OH. Some sugar maples have leaves opening. Elms and red maples are flowering. Some Carpinus and Ostrya buds are starting to swell - this is probably the last week to dig some.

So the Morels will be popping. Time to head North as it's getting hot down here. Soap Operas and Sunburn. Sweet Polly is happy.
