Did a little trim up of the dead twigs on my spirea and removed the wire on the thickest branches and then quickly rewired them the opposite direction because they're not staying in place.
Have it sitting sideways in a tray of pumice to try and get more strength into that lower branch. That's the struggle with spirea just letting branches die off and losing ramification. It will need a restyle.
I like to dig up plants from my yard and give them away to bonsai club members but this barberry I can't even seem to give away.
So I styled it.
Hopefully I can give this little goblin away.
Found a stray dog yesterday and set her up in my shed with the heater. She had a lot of fun running around the backyard and licking peanut butter bones. She didn't even chew on any of my trees.
The cops came and got her at 1am and she's at the shelter getting medical care. I'll call and check on her tomorrow.
