    BRT in Utah

I just water my tropical once or twice a week during winter. Also I put some water in a container underneath the pots in order to have some humidity.

    BRT in Utah

I don't know the Utah climate but I had my BRT inside, without special light and not too much heat in IL last winter, it lost all its leaves but survived perfectly and grew like weed all spring and summer. For the present winter it is in a room in my basement (hottest part of the house) with...

    White Sap on my Ficus

Btw: take care a little, latex (ficus sap hence) could be irritant to skin and eyes.

can you collect trees in fall?

I collect in spring for the 'regular collection mode' however I also have a 'Thanksgiving collection mode' with a different process: for the totally deciduous trees I collect them when they are in complete dormancy (i.e. no leaf remaining at all, this correspond to Thanksgiving here normally)...

My brazilian rain tree and I have a question for you...

I bought 2 120W growing bulbs from Home depot (special light spectrum for growing plant) and a timer set-up at 12h a day and my BRT seems to love it.

Very nice and unusual tree! So unusual that for me the best front is actually a side, I just love the last picture

Do you root feed in the winter?

I just put osmocote 14/14/14 on top of the soil during the falls and that does the trick until spring.

    Thinking of picking these up...

I agree with @Cadillactaste and $70 sounds like a lot to me due to the lack of really nice features on the maple. The bougainvillea looks much nicer to me.
