So I've been storing TONS of pictures of my trees and work lately... TRYING to carve out time to update all the threads.

When a thought occured.

...I could film a video walk through and charming narrative of my plant area.. composed of two or three videos...

Just like an "I'm still here, just busy as all get out", type of thing.

My question to you (Or "ya'll" if @Cajunrider is around πŸ˜›), is;

Is that something ya'll would be interested in.

AND.

What are your thoughts on putting together a similar tour of your own spaces?

My back yard is a mess after restarting bonsai . Will do a vid or walk thru when I get it organized . And or actually have some stuff worth showing . I for one would love to hear some of your music . I can carry a tune real well . I walk around with a phone full of them all the time

Like... The music I LISTEN to... or the music I create?

;)

Music you create . The music you listen to probably scar me for life πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I was gonna say, "I don't listen to too much ENGLISH music, these days!"

I'm on an Andalusian Kick, lately,. after I traced (a portion of) my bloodline back to Seville and Tariffa.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I have some of the music I recorded as a pompous, drug addled 18-19-year old... if your interested...

How about something you play now
Lemme see what I can throw together.. I'm playing mandolin tonight, anyways... I could just guitar, instead...mentally dust off a more recent song...(past 5-8 years).... I've just started REALLY playing again, so no new songs completely assembled quite yet. I mostly have been "jam"ing, true freeform, but ALL musicians present are versed in music theory, all sorts of instruments, a couple guys and myself.

You wanted some pics. First up most will not recognize but that’s paper birch then a seedling native red pine next tsuga canadensa dwarf cultivars on the left coles prostrate in the right Betty rose possible the slowest growing version. But notice the compact foliage the prostrate is going on the piece of granite ror cascade Both are destined to be very small bonsai A collected sugar maple tree is not much but notice the leaf comparison to yard tree probable air layer the top off it’s 3 feet high before the foliage starts then some pics of my shin juniper garden collected and the Beaver white cedar @sorce Don’t k ow it yet. But he has to make a pot for that tree

The beaver was teak when collected and very slow to recover and reduce the roots to close to the trunk . But it loved its repot this spring into that smaller pot has had one hair cut and is due for another going to get some wire . And more deadwood work . The shinpaku I’m very undecided about windswept or semi cascade I think

Splendid!!

That Juni is really going places!

And I LOVE the Native Birch (What did you call me? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) it's differences from the birches I usually encounter, fascinate me.

Still enjoying that previously discussed Sugar... it's special... don't kill it! *playfully nudges in ribs*
the Beaver white cedar @sorce Don’t k ow it yet. But he has to make a pot for that tree

I'm sure he'd love a "Meet the Cinderella" situation like that!

πŸ€“

The birch is paper collected last spring it’s basically a root sucker growing out a small dead stump . Most peeps are un aware takes 7 years for birch bark to turn white more in a stressed situation or a pot no idea what I’m going to do with it The juniper is second pot after collection just cut back and potted this spring the cedar has multiple flaws like really only 2 branches one right above the other originally was going to be just both windswept but I think I’ll grow a apex still can’t believe how it’s finally taken off the dwarf hemlock in back of mind think one could be cool in the corner of a pot with a large collected one

@sorce has this thing about not shipping outside the. USA but I really really like his pots and I’m persistent ( annoying as shit) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Have this idea to pick a pit I like . And then tell him to just make me a whatever he thinks after he has seen a pic of the tree that way I trick him into shipping me 2 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I envy you.
Heck! I envy all y’all musicians.

Here's a couple of the old ones... from 2007/08...

The style varies somewhat from song-to-song... so the rest of the album is on there, too. Just in my (Aldous Huxley's) videos.

The production quality is.. iffy.. I'm pretty sure this is the one we recorded ourselves. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I was unable to "music" tonight.. got caught up making a Bound-book for the lap and torso of my sculpture.
