So I recently bought a boxwood and I am wondering what substrate and soil should I get for it, I heard pumice is good but I'd also like what ratio it should be.

Just pumice? or do I add anything else? Also, nice trunk

That's all pumice. It was faltering in soil so I put it in pumice. It responded quickly and is doing well.

Depends on many things - your location to start. Climate, your ability to provide daily care, soil components readily available to you. Search this site for soil discussions and you'll get tons of opinions. The bottom line is you can grow your boxwood in almost any substrate if your watering and fertilizing are designed to match the substrate.
If you put your general location in your profile you'll likely get better advice.
