Hey all.
I was playing around trying to figure out where to take this. I'd love to see your drawings or iterations on where this could go.
The one is just kind of an idea but I will be playing around more.

Thanks for looking
And happy holidays everyone.

Hello fellow Albertan!

Here's a couple quick/crappy virts from me. One an informal upright (would try very hard to bring first/second branches down) and then a bunjin concept.

Anyways, I mostly just replied to this to invite you to come meet with @Tycoss and myself sometime, we're in Calgary + area. Really great to see another Albertan active in bonsai.

The more I look at these, the more the "less is more" bunjin style sticks out to me.

Seems like you could build some nice full pads and apex pretty quickly, shoehorn it into a nice small colorful round pot, and call it a day!

Thanks I like this style as well and plan on a nice round pot eventually. I will have to figure how to message on here and get your info, I plan on doing some yamadori collecting this spring for larch and local juniper , I'd be down to have some people to go with.
