A repot on Aug 1st

Here’s one of my jbp’s from seedling in a newer and shallower setting from August.
I’d planned to show her at GSBF meet on behalf of our club (Modesto) but foolish me she got her little precious needles burt on top with our recent super high temps a week back… so home she stays.

sorce: none of my JBP have burnt needle tips due to our super high temps last week, and I did not repot them in August.

Better. New pot is nice however(aestheticlly)too shallow for pine AFAIC. Some here tell shallow pot tends to drown bottom roots if keeping upper substrate damp enough. Seems good information. Superficially.

I’ve plucked out a few of the burnt( tips ) needles on the top and here she is as of today. I mag going to bring her to GSBF next week anyhow as other than that she is looking best yet from seedling. She’s never been shown.
