I have two pots on hand I feel suitable for this Birds nest spruce. It has been 4 yrs in the plastic pot.

Would you be so kind as to give me your opinion between them?

I prefer B but I also think at some point a shallower/thinner pot will be needed to accommodate the width and slender trunk and base. Visually and aesthetically a shallower pot will be

Ha ha! Admittedly, I do like choice B. However, the red pot is brand new. It Lacks any character or patina. After a couple seasons, I think it would look a lot better

Part of the reason why I wasn’t sure.

My wife actually picked choice A. She says the pot seems lighter and goes with the relatively thin swooping trunk.
…..Naw, I’m going with choice B. Thanks for the help!
