My 6yo wired up his first bonsai coastal live oak with copper wire. He really enjoyed it and is proud of it. Any positive or uplifting feedback welcome. I know he crossed wire and made loops to tight. But he is proud and wanted to share. He wants to see what the "professionals" think.

Good job. Same angle, same spacing, no gaps.

Remember, close eyes and think only tree. Nothing exist whole world. Only tree.

He's bending copper at six?! When I was six I couldn't even do aluminium!
Strong man!

I do think however that the trees deserves a photoshoot with a backdrop and the artist next to it. And maybe his plans for the future of the tree, if he's thought about it.

Welcome to the forum.

Nice to see a young kid doing bonsai.
Please teach him the right thing and that is to use aluminium wire on decideous trees and copper on conifers.

Don’t most 6 year olds already have their own personal Bnut account? Are you Amish or something? But seriously it’s very cool to see kids being interested in bonsai. I wish I had started that young.

Great job! And how very exciting to see! Thanks for sharing. And the math is incredible, if I started when I was six I'd have 65 years experience! Way to go kid! Off to a good start!
