The angel I added--I suppose it is me hanging there. The vac was pretty much as was. The front was obvious to me.
Nick and I spent most of our time together collecting--him browbeating me and telling me to quit feeling everything up, and me wheezing while carrying everything. He picks at me about design and laziness. I have never seen him teach--and never was really taught but I spent a lot of time in the presence of magical trees with him, in the wild and in his garden. I understand he teaches koan-style and asks impossible questions of his students like, "If you cut off all the branches and make it look fuller, will I be pleased?" or when asked about the proper angle for a tree he will say, " Yesterday I had slimetoes for lunch and today I will have slimetoes for lunch--would you like to join me?" But then what do you expect, he is an helplessly intuitive artist, and always has been. All technical stuff is just trivia to him...except beer, beer is important.
