Been almost a year since I bare rooted this.
Today I hard pruned a couple branches pencil sized (which results in a fair height reduction
and some knuckle issues addressed) then cleaned up underneath most others
and just went through trying to omit some natural flaws that would work against any promising design to follow.

You're looking into the end of a jin not a space where a branch was removed, yet.
Wired the jin a little with #8 and the shoulder started separating when I bent it down.

The yew has some scale insect. Good that I got in there and messing around some.

2nd flush underway. Only been giving ProTekt a couple time a week with the 3rd heatwave just breaking.
Yesterday everything got Plant Tone ahead of todays and next weeks rains, then I'll be back to rotation feeding again.

It doesn't seem like it's been 5 years since I bought this gem.
I certainly have lost track of time as it's been nearly 4 years since I bare rooted and potted down into this, then available pot.

Looks like I need to rotate the tree next potting. It's still percolating well.
