I've had this Holly Oak, Quercus ilex for a few years. It has nice bark, thick trunk, good branching.... and horrible roots. Decided yesterday to do something about it.

Update. I checked progress and no roots... just a big callus. So I recut, applied more Clonex and will try again.

Ha! I saw the roots. I thought that was a snake wrapped around the trunk. Good correction you made.
