I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of nuts. @NaoTK was super friendly and his pots are even more beautiful in person. Someday maybe I'll have a tree worthy of them. I also met @Adair. He was very gracious and even explained the provenance of his best of show winning Zelcova. Here's a few pics.

Wow, looks like the level of trees and displays were top notch. American bonsai is truly progressing to a higher plane of quality. Kudos to the show organizers and helpers, and congrats to Adair!

Yes I wish I had made it to the show for sure. I have a couple photos of Adairs tree on his bench 3 years ago.
I like the cream coloured pot it was in, better than the one he has it in now. Moss looks better now though. What pot do you like?

The pot it is in now is cream also, only with a heavy patina. I heard him say it is Chinese antique which I think is quite appropriate. It really was a stunning display.
