Saw this one in a nursery yesterday. Believe it looks nice good taper and shape and good price (around 100 USD)
What's ticking me off is the wiring marks I can wait if they will heal?
Roots believe they're a bit exaggerated but that is fine for elms I guess?
What's your take on that branch they slided down along the trunk to get the lateral branch out on the lower if the tree ? Is that acceptable practice ? Would you keep it or take it out ?
What gets me coming back to the tree is the thickness of the trunk, nice bark and the good taper going up.
If I get it what would you suggest to do for it ?IMAG6169.jpg IMAG6167.jpg IMAG6165.jpg

Thanks for your input.
should have mentioned that things here are a bit more expensive than in US. but again its still a lot of money ...

@maroun.c ,

I don't live in the US or import trees.

Plus 100 US would be about 670 Yuan
[ 1 yuan = 1 TT $ ]

So even at 670 Yuan [ 670 TT $ ] that would be a costly tree, with imperfections.
TT = Trinidad and Tobago.

At that price I would expect no wire marks.
Good Day
Anthony
