Potential yamadori subjects. I’m after twisted trunks and I am wondering if you all think either of these trees would qualify as twisted trunks.
Would you say this trunk is twisted?

I think they have some twists in them. Not as extreme as others are, but definitely have some. If it's enough to make you happy go for it, but if you want super duper tree

They have enough twist to offer a lot of potential in an informal upright, especially the 2nd one. I think they are both charming but I can't get a sense of how large they are.

What does it matter what other people think? Maybe I don't understand the concept? Is there some measure of twistedness that will exclude some and give the green light to others?
