Wire organization solutions

OK, I'm tired of wire getting clumped up or tangled with other wire. The caddies I've seen seem like they either don't hold enough rolls or aren't portable, but I absolutely need some kind of solution.

What do folks use to keep their wire organized, especially if you bring it different places?

I put it on the tree before I take the tree anywhere. I know how to wire, so if in some weird situation I would bring my tree anywhere, I wouldn't waste the "meeting time" by showing a teacher how I wire.
Saves the amount of wire I would need to bring by a lot. I make hand-sized rolls that I can pack together. The larger the roll, the bigger the chance something gets tangled. Wrap them in newspapers maybe?

I have seen people use 2 ft long sections of PVC pipe, multiple glued together, with a stopper in the bottom. Straight sections of wire sitting in them.

Ive had one of these for a few years, but tbh it doesnt get used much.
