Welcome Aboard BonsaiNut!
Junipers are outdoors trees. (Even if one lives on the NAm Arctic tundra, if it’s juniperus communis) So plan on keeping it outside out of direct sunlight and wind. Most folks put their trees down on the ground, or mulched in on the ground (with good drainage).
We love to help give good advice to folks here. To help us do so, please enter your approximate location, I.e. Seattle area, Long Island etc.. and USDA Cold Hardiness Zone on your profile as this data will help us help you immensely.
