Maybe in the cold frame next year. I think this year in the basement under lights with my other unhardy plants. I believe it’s about 60 degrees Fahrenheit down there. Also misting it daily. I really don’t know what’s best though. I think these are like zone 6 or 7.

So after thinking about the how unfair it would be to make a forest group, ...... I’m making a dwarf Alberta forest group. Not an entry to the competition, but a project realized from this competition.

I have 5 Alberta spruce from Lowe’s at 8.98 a piece.

These tend to grow in zones 5-10. Being a evergreen, what kind of light do you plan to use?

As for the forest, just remember the more ingredients in a dish the easier it is to get something wrong.

So.. I have some variable spectrum led lamps I’ve been using.
They have the red blue or both option.

I have no idea when it comes to such things. I was just asking because that would be what i would be asking myself if it was mine. I have been trying to put off getting into the whole LED light thing for as long as i can.

You should have been there when they were doing their end of season sale (all trees and shrubs 50% off). They had these for $5.
