I've never had whiteflies on elm before. In fact, I haven't had an elm for several years.
This year I have a new corkbark elm "starter" and it's getting whiteflies.

Safer soap?

Or something else?

Thanks :)

I'm winning my whitefly war with plain water spray, safer soap and yellow sticky traps in combination. Water seems to set them flying, te soap does in the babies, then the fliers land on the traps. Oh, I saw a spider crawling around one pot, so I think he might be helping.

In my experience white fly are the easiest to beat. Soapy-water spray or any store-bought product off the shelf.
