What forums are excluded from "new posts"?

I noticed today that when I hit the "new posts" button, posts in the Tea House are not included. are there any other forums that are excluded?

I think it's only the Tea House, not sure why. Maybe @Bonsai Nut could explain.

I think the Tea House makes some sense to exclude, but it would also be nice if there was an account setting to include it. as a software engineer tho, I know that's easier said then done!

I seem to remember that years ago the Teahouse had a lot of political discussions and folks requested that it be eliminated or separated from the rest of the bonsai discussions. I suspect this filtering is a result of that problem.

Sorry I missed this post earlier - only the Tea House does not show up in "new posts".

However you can still "watch" threads within the Tea House, if you so desire, and be notified when the individual threads are updated. This allows you to control what "off topic" content you wish to follow.
