So I have a little haws watering can, and my nozzle is clogged and don't know how to clean it to make it work again , I'm guessing just mineral build up . Any suggestions to fix this wirhiut damaging the plastic in process of trying to clean it ?

Thanks

My cheap plastic can gets clogged too. Try running some 1 or 1.5 bonsai wire in and our a few times. If it is lime buildup, some vinegar should do the job.

I'm assuming the rose doesn't unscrew. If that's the case, use your high-pressure hose with the "shower" setting on the wand (assuming you have one) and wash back through the rose into the can. Or if you have a regular hose head most any setting ought to work as long as the pressure is high. The holes of your watering rose will usually get clogged with the inevitable debris that gets into the can and won't come through the rose.

No its removable . I just tried everything , but I fixed it finally , using a needle and lots of hot water to clean the rest of the can . Thanks ! Also looking to maybe buy another can as well, any suggestions for one ?

I have a small metal one I use for special purposes, not everyday watering. When the rose clogs up I unscrew it, shake/tap out the bulk of the crud, then backwash with the hose. Works great.

Thanks for your help . I'll be keeping that in mind next time it happens (:

Mine had a dead mouse stuck in the rose. It took a couple of yanks to pull the nose off and expose the teeth before I realized what it was.

I soak mine is hot vinegar, rinse, soak, repeat. You can also use CLR or simplegreen, but I've found vinegar cheap and effective.

My opinion is Haw's are second to none, even the plastic varieties are superior to others.
