Wasp in epic battle

That’s one heck of a wasp!
 
Many katydids are carnivorous or eat both plants and insects. The Saginae eat large prey but many feed on small caterpillars, aphids and things like that.
 
That's cool. I love entomology. It was my favorite college course.
I didn't know about these carnivorous katydid critters. The ones I studied here are leaf eaters.
When I raised bearded dragons, katydids were lizard candy.
