Hello, i hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I have been Collecting Yamadori for two years now. Mostly sub alpine. I haven't really been looking for juniper until now. I am curious if anyone can point me in the right direction of where to find them in Washington state. I am open to Oregon and Idaho as well. I don't expect anyone to give up there locations but maybe someone could give me a general area and i can go from there. Or if anyone wants to go out together i would be interested in that as well. I am in Kirkland, Washington but don't mind driving. Thank you for any help.

Greetings and Welcome Aboard BonsaiNut!

A few ideas for you.

If your are in Kirkland, are you a member of PSBA? That’s your best bet to get a line or partner. @andrewiles, a member of BN and PSBA has collected a number of trees. He might get you started.

Also in eastern Oregon @August44 is an avid collector. He might be able to help too.

Finally, check out this thread. There may be someone posting who can also help.

Finally, please help us help you by posting your approximate location and USDA Plant Cold Hardiness Zone on your icon. To do this double tap your icon atop the page, then account details. Scroll down and enter these data and save. Thanks!

Good Luck
