Video: Collecting bald cypress on a private lake in Northeast Louisiana

Footage from a recent collecting trip to Northeast Louisiana. My friend Byron's family has a private lake that is surrounded by a cypress-tupelo swamp. I met up with Byron and his lifelong friend Tommy in Monroe and we headed out to dig a few trees. We borrowed a neighbor's Polaris Ranger (FUN!) to get closer to the swamp. A big THANK YOU to Mr Earl and Ms Wanda for the lend of the Polaris and for being gracious hosts to the three of us!

Great video....If I had easy access to BC I don't think I would grow anything else.....Collecting is my favorite part of bonsai. Looks like Ya'll had a lot of fun.

Bill, I watched your video lasr pt night and was really glad to see you digging and posting again. I want to see those trees in six months and a year from now just to see how they prosper. I am always amazed at how much these trees can take and then bud out like crazy. Keep pushing those vide, I have missed them over the last year.
