Hi Cody,
2 ways I can think of to propagate Tridents. Similar to JM’s.
1. Wait til growth is semi-hardwood (growth lignified), and take cutting using 0.5%- 1.0% IBA rooting hormone. Then place either using a misting unit or mini-greenhouse with a plastic bottle. Cuttings need humidity to successfully root (eg. Damp not wet leaves.) Should take about 2-4 weeks to root.
2. Other method is to air-layer branches/trunk with either pot and bonsai soil, or spagnum moss inside a plastic wrap/bag.
Best of luck either way,
Charles
