Here are three of my field-grown rose bush bonsai. I plan on trimming as they grow throughout this season.
Let me know if you have suggestions to improve them.

I like rose as bonsai. Dug 4 on my property a few years ago. All about 15 years old. They're going on well.
Are these the small flower ones? Any pics of the flowers?

They are regular flowering varieties but they do have small-ish leaves. I will see if I have any pictures with flowers. Do you have pictures of yours? I want to see what kind of styling people do with these. I showed my wife a few online pictures and she thinks a lean tree without too much foliage is better looking compared to one with full foliage. She thinks the ones with full foliage just look like rose bushes in pots. I tend to agree.

Here's some pics of them. I'm not to sure which way yet. Just giving them some movement and trying to work with the tree. They're still in grow pots..just playing with them for now.

I love Rosas!! I just dug an embarrassing multiflora this year...and THEN learned a lot more about collecting/rose in general..

So big aspirations for NEXT season.

I really like what you’ve got “going on”
and await updates gleefully.

You too, @fredman

:)
